this weekend was full of bad movies (IT'S ALL ABOUT LOVE & IN DREAMS) chased down by an awesomely bad movie (ZARDOZ) and lots of hammering/drilling/sawing wood. |

I really do like getting to know people who read this. So answer these questions cos questions are fun. Bonus points for making me laugh, since my brain is leaking out of my ears again.

Here are my answers:
1. What is your name?
Wendy
2. How old are you?
I am twenty-eight years old.
3. Where do you live, what do you live in, and do you like it?
I live in a loft in downtown Los Angeles, near skid row. I have a lot of space, not enough stuff to fill it with. I have to fix everything myself (anyone who knows me understands the danger in this). The elevator hardly works, sometimes there is blood on the stoop, there are homeless dudes and bees outside my window. Oh, and there is a bridge is right by my bed, which makes my apartment very dusty and loud. It's super cheap and my air conditioner works, but I'm getting kicked out next year. I live alone and I love it.
4. What do you do for a job?
I'm a freelance graphic designer. Right now I'm doing print work in Hollywood.
5. What would you do with your time in an ideal world where earning money wasn't the top priority?
If I didn't have to earn a living, I would draw and bake and read and listen to records and take regular walks in the park. I'd probably start designing stupid things, such as better illustrated IKEA furniture assembly instructions. This is also dependent on a 30-hour day.
6. Do you make anything?
Besides silly work doodles and the occasional stuffed animal friend? I just made a kitchen counter, a delicious salad, and at some point I won't be too tired to work on a comic. Also I paint, print, sew, knit, crochet, and very rarely I make little songs and even littler movies.
7. What is your favorite food?
Dumplings.
8. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
I've got Berlin on the brain again, and maybe a nice little forest cottage or a beach house would be nice. But I'm pretty happy with where I am right now.
